About the store
¡Hola! I am a public schools Spanish Teacher and EC Teacher turned curriculum writer for MW's Language Services. I’ve experience in education since 2011! Having lived in Bilbao, Spain and traveled extensively to volunteer as an interpreter I have had first hand experience Spanish and Latin American Culture. It was crazy to find out later in life, at age 31, that I actually have some Spanish roots! I hope to share resources that make other teachers' lives easier, and bring rigor, color and fun into your lessons.

SPANISH PRESENT TENSE Practice Explore/Choice Board
Use this document to integrate some choice and student voice and technology into your instruction! I use choice boards with my Spanish 2 classes but you could also use it for Spanish 1. The document contains 3 different pages with many online activities/links for students to practice/review the present tense. Having lived in Bilbao, Spain and traveled extensively to volunteer as an interpreter I have had first hand experience Spanish and Latin American Culture. Teaching style
I use a hybrid of TPRS/CI and little explicit grammar instruction. It is my belief that through a multitude of teaching styles we can reach every learner. I believe in being responsive to student needs. I strive to be a culturally responsive teacher.
My own education history
Before earning my Masters of Education in Culturally Responsive Teaching, I earned my BS with two majors in Spanish/Latin American Studies and Ages K-21 Education.
More recent studies have been Diversity, Equity and Inlcusive Leadership as well as Human Rights Certificates. My next goal is graduating from the HR Management Graduate Certificate program through E Cornell!
