Students need to rewrite the fractions to divisions and then solve it.
The first 4 problems are half-done examples.

Practice adding fractions with the same denominator with coloring representational to enhance understandings!
Students will add the two fraction representational by adding the colored portions and coloring the sum in the new fraction base to find the result. Then students will add the fractions together.
