I've taught mathematics for 13 years at two different districts. I've taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Integrated Math 1, 2, and 3. In addition I've taught Precalculus Honors and Calculus AB AP. I've been a department chair and team lead.
Unit 1 Review and Extend has 6 lessons with guided notes and practice problems and a review study guide. A great way to start teaching guided instruction with clarity and precision. 1.1 Exponents 1.2 Radicals 1.3 Factoring 1.4 Solving Equations 1.5 Linear Equations 1.6 Multiple Representations 1 Review
1.6 Multiple Representations is designed to teach to embrace linear equations verbally, algebraically, numerically, and graphically. Included is notes with examples and matching practice problems with similar rigor.
1.5 Linear Equations is designed to teach graphing linear equations, determining slope, standard form, point slope form, and slope intercept form. Included is notes with examples and matching practice problems with similar rigor.
1.2 Radicals is designed to teach simplifying radicals with integers, imaginary, and variables. Included is notes with examples and matching practice problems with similar rigor.
1.1 Exponents is designed to teach and practice properties including product rule, quotient rule, and power rule. Included is notes with examples and matching practice problems with similar rigor.
A great assignment on graphing a quadratic equation in vertex form, standard form, and intercept form. Included is word document the ability to modify and edit the examples for additional practice. Students will find great success being able to graph these parabolas and identify key features. This is a great follow up to my graphing quadratic equations template.
