About the store
Former elementary teacher in Orange County, FL, but now I have been running my own private online tutoring business since 2012. I work with students, primarily in math, grades 2nd through 11th (Algebra 2) all around the world. I love working with students one-on-one because it gives us a chance to really dive in and focus on exactly what each student needs help with the most. I also love creating math resources to better help my own students, as well as sharing with teachers and tutors everywhere!

Teaching style
I find connecting the concrete to abstract really helps my students learn best. I teach with lots of modeling, manipulatives and examples, examples, EXAMPLES! Oh, and GAMES! I love games!!!!

I'm so in love with what I do! Since starting my own tutoring business, I've been working hard to branch out and find other ways to help students out there. I started my YouTube channel in 2014 (@MyTutoringBee) as a way to help parents who were struggling with understanding the new methods being taught in math. I believe everyone should have access to various methods so they can find what works best for them. I love connecting with the community through my videos!
