Josh: I have been teaching since 2008 in middle school Language Arts and Geography. I have taught 6th and 7th grade. I work as a building and district PLC leader, tasked with finding, creating, and modeling best practice instruction.
Sometimes unique award certificates are hard to find. I have created classroom certificates that are editable to meet your needs and school colors. The awards can be editable for any subject and content area. I currently have 12 awards for four subject areas (math, science, social studies, and language arts). These certificates are easy to edit and will stand out for your students.

Want an easy and simple way to reward your student? These 8 GOTCHA CARDS are great ways of praising/complimenting students for their great behavior/hard work. The cards print out to be 5.5” x 3.95” which means they can fit on cardstock found at Walmart, or simply printed on paper and cut down. A mailing address could be placed on the front and these cards can be sent home to parents, letting them know what great work/behavior their student has accomplished.
If your school is a PBIS school,
Finding different approaches to reviewing vocabulary/introducing vocabulary can be very difficult. Vocabulary baseball is a fun way to incorporate both review and new words. On the next two slides you will find the random word generator and the baseball game board. This uses SmartBoard software and can be reformatted to meet any vocabulary for any grade! My kids loved playing these games and actually wanted to practice vocabulary!

Experience
Josh: I have been teaching since 2008 in middle school Language Arts and Geography. I have taught 6th and 7th grade. I work as a building and district PLC leader, tasked with finding, creating, and modeling best practice instruction.
Teaching style
I believe all students can learn in a differentiated classroom that tries to meet the needs of all learners. I am a classroom facilitator that focuses more on student learning and less on "teaching". Using formative assessment, feedback, and student self assessment around clear learning targets is key to student success.
Awards & shining teacher moments
Josh: I was privileged to have the opportunity to be a finalist for Wyoming State Teacher of the Year. I was named Goshen County School District Teacher of the Year in 2014.
My own education history
Josh: I have a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Chadron State College.
Additional biographical information
Josh: Married to my best friend and have the privileged of raising two wonderful young boys.
