Hands on, simple, reflective activity for students to use both the subjonctive present and conditionnel present in authentic contexts. You will need a minimum of supplies such as construction paper . The document contains all instruction and information students will need to independently write their sentences in French, and to form and conjugate correctly.

This is a writing activity to practice using relative clauses in context (with relative pronouns qui, que, dont. ...).. In the process, students will learn about French gastronomy and food preparation related vocabulary,, A listening activity is also provided along with modeling and vocabulary bank .

Students will work in teams to cook a dish unfamiliar to them: " un clafoutis aux pommes." but very common in France. This activity incorporate interpersonal and interpretive modes of communication. After the cooking process is done, students will have to complete a questionnaire to reflect on the experience and to make cross cultural comparisons. This activity also gives the opportunity to review impératif présent and articles partitifs.
