I use this worksheet in my science center when I do my weather unit. I put out four cups halfway full of water. In one cup I put red food coloring. Another cup I heat in the microwave. In another cup I put a few ice cubes and the fourth cup I leave alone. Then my kids get to use thermometers to test the temperature of each cup. They draw what each cup looks like in a box on the recording sheet then they record the temperature and describe the temperature of the water and what it looks like
At my art lab during my ice and weather unit I allow my students to cut snowflakes out of white paper or coffee filters. Once they have created their snowflake they have to describe it to me through writing so this is what I made this recording sheet for. They have to use descriptive words and names of shapes to describe their snowflakes. (I know the image of it isn't great but I promise it is all on one page and pieced together well!)
This interactive schedule was intentionally made for my kindergarten classroom. I made it because I wanted to simplify my daily routine it includes... Arrival, Morning Work, Reader's Workshop, Lunch, Specials, Writer's Workshop, Math, Centers, Home. These labels include cute graphics from Scrappin Doodles at scrappindoodles.com.
