This social story describes with pictures and words when and why we need to wear a coat. With the warmer weather arriving, many of our kiddo's who experience rigidity have trouble transitioning from wearing a coat to not wearing one. This social story may help explain and support not wearing a coat when it is hot or warn outside.

This think sheet is designed to reinforce instances where students make good choices including helping a friend, following directions, kind words etc. It can be shared with caregivers, principals and school psychologists to review and reinforce.
