This project is a supplemental activity to geometry learning in the intermediate grades. This winter when you need a fill in activity, this common core aligned activity will allow you to teach or support students in learning about triangles, angles, and protractor use!

Need a fun activity to do with your students for valentines day? This is perfect for 4th and 5th graders who have finished decimal operations. Students answer quick problems, connect the dots to make a heart, and then have a chance to exchange sheets to give each other personalized messages.

In this activity students will learn how to calculate Pi on their own. They will learn how to find circumference and diameter, and then calculate pi to the nearest hundredth. A great activity for strong dividers and for helping to teach circumference, diameter, chords, and center point.

This is a small packet with 3 different brainstorming techniques for students to use. This will get some students started with their writing!
