This worksheet I used to help my students identify possessive nouns. They also had look at phrases and get them to show ownership. After using this my kids could not only identify but create their own phrases. This can be used as homework or an in class assignment.

This worksheet I used to help my students identify sentences with compound subjects. They also had look at sentences in which they had to combine the subjects. Then write it correctly to show they could not only find them but write them too.

This PowerPoint helped my students with their writing. The focus of me showing these pictures related to my kids using adjectives in their writing. The pictures are funny and out of the ordinary but they loved to see what the next picture would be. They then had to write a descriptive paragraph about the picture. This activity allowed them to be extremely creative and improved their ability to describe anything.

This PowerPoint reviews the different types of T.E.I questions that will be on the test. It provides necessary exposure to the format of the questions. In this pack I have included 6 worksheets (two pages each). Each activity the first pages asks students to identify the predicates in each sentence. The second page asks students to add a predicate to each sentence. This helped my students with identification and creation of sentences. In the end they had a strong grasp of predicates.
