Experience

I am a current classroom teacher entering my 17th year of education. With experience teaching Math in grades 7–12, as well as Psychology and Sociology, I’m passionate about creating resources that meet the diverse needs of all learners. My goal is to design materials that are both engaging and accessible, supporting students at every level of understanding.

Teaching style

A main focus in all my teaching is not just the education but the social and emotional components that help students grow not just academically, but into adulthood. I strive to have an open classroom where students feel free to ask questions and be involved. My pedagogy strives to scaffold students to the answers; while further promoting problem solving skills.

Additional biographical information

I take my ATD certified Therapy Dog to school weekly. I lead a Book Club at my school each year. I am on multiple committees within my district. Outside the Classroom: I am a Mom of 3. Environmentalist & Modern Homesteader - I could talk about this all day! Book Lover - forever learning. Avid Foodie!
