Model an Equation Project-EDITABLE I teach a remedial level algebra 1 class and require a multistep equation, but could easily change the directions to say one step or two step for middle school. Students must come up with their own equation and model it with blocks cut out from grid paper. Great visual for equations! Includes a grading checklist and example.
