This lab encourages the students to "Think Outside the Box!" This lab is an excellent way to start a school year in the science lab! It introduces the students to the scientific method, exposes them to the lab and tools/equipment commonly used, and is always a fun challenge! The lab is easy to set up, low cost, and really fun for the students. The materials can be used year after year. My daughter, Summer, loves to make slime! After extensive research on various recipes, this is her favorite! It a great lab to do with the students for fun! Enjoy!

The lab explores osmosis with shell-less eggs. The kids will be amazed by the results of the eggs submerged in water and corn syrup. The lab is also a great way to explain the steps of the scientific method and practice gathering and graphing data. This lab is one of my very favorites!
