I have taught for 16 years in third grade. The first 6 were in Special Ed (resource and inclusion). I have spent the next 10 teaching 3rd Grade Math. All 16 years have been spent teaching in a small town in Texas.
These 10 puzzles can be printed and laminated for students to assemble. Each puzzle includes the Polygon name piece, a definition piece and a picture piece.
2-D Figures included in these puzzles are triangles, quadrilaterals, parallelograms, trapezoids, rectangles, rhombuses, squares, pentagons, hexagons and octagons.
Students may work on these in centers independently or in small groups of 2-3 students.

I am married to my awesome husband who is the PE teacher at the Intermediate School and a Jr High coach. We have 2 wonderful kids - a son in 7th grade and a daughter in 3rd grade (with me!).
