Teaching style
I start with the basics, providing an overview of the design process, color theory, typography, and other fundamental concepts. From there, I encourage my students to work on real-life projects that challenge their creativity and problem-solving skills. This helps them to develop a deeper understanding of how design concepts apply in the professional world.
My own education history
I also place a strong emphasis on professional development and self-reflection. I provide opportunities for students to network with industry professionals, attend design conferences, and participate in workshops. I encourage them to stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and techniques, and to continually evaluate and improve their own work.
