I am a dedicated Middle School Special Education teacher with nine years of classroom experience, creating resources that support diverse learners and make learning accessible for all.

Teaching style

My teaching style is rooted in meeting students where they are academically. I believe every student has a voice and should be encouraged to advocate for their own education. I design lessons around the most critical needs in the classroom while building confidence and supporting growth. By taking time to understand each child’s unique learning style, I create engaging and meaningful learning experiences for all.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I’ve also worked as a tutor for the past four years, specializing in reading instruction. I’m proud to share that 100% of the students I tutored successfully passed the IREAD-3, a milestone that reflects both their hard work and the effectiveness of my teaching approach.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Special Education. My background has given me a unique perspective and a strong foundation for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
