I have been an SLPA intern since 2022, gaining hands-on experience supporting students with a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs across therapy settings under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists. journey into the field of speech and language is deeply personal. In addition I am parent of three children — two are neurodivergent, my son has (ADHD and Autism) and speech delay and my toddler has a speech delay as well — I have firsthand experience navigating communication differences, advocacy, and support across home, school, and therapy settings. Navigating communication differences within my own family has shaped my understanding of advocacy, patience, and functional communication. Looking back, I truly believe God called me into this field long before I even realized it. This lived experience strongly influences how I create compassionate, practical, and family-centered therapy resources. Through this journey, I discovered my passion for supporting children with diverse communication needs.
