Meet Brittany Gonzalez, M.Ed., an special education expert dedicated to helping neurodivergent students succeed. With over five years of experience teaching individuals with unique needs and a Master's degree from Florida Gulf Coast University, Brittany has extensive practical knowledge. Brittany's exceptional teaching skills, compassion, and commitment to her students were recognized when she was chosen as a Top 30 Finalist for the prestigious Lee County Golden Apple Teacher Recognition Program award for two consecutive years. This award recognizes the most outstanding teachers in Lee County, Florida, and is a testament to Brittany's ability to make a real difference in the lives of her students. Brittany holds active Florida-certified teaching certifications in Exceptional Student Education (Grades K-12) and Elementary Education (K-6) and has passed the Professional Education Test and General Knowledge Test. She also holds Florida Department of Education Endorsements in Autism Spectrum Disorders, English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and Reading. This diverse set of skills and knowledge equips her with the tools to create inclusive, collaborative, and psychologically safe learning environments.
