My own education history

I’m so excited to share a little bit about my journey and the experiences that have shaped who I am today. With years of hands-on experience and a strong educational foundation, I’m passionate about creating meaningful, impactful resources for those who need them most. **Here’s a look at my journey:** **Early Intervention Developmental Specialist: My journey began working directly with young children in their homes and in centers, where I helped families and children with developmental delays through early intervention strategies. It was during this time that I truly understood the power of early support and how it can change the trajectory of a child's development. **Behavioral Technician: I spent several years working in homes and centers as a Behavioral Technician, implementing evidence-based strategies to help children with behavioral challenges thrive. This role helped me develop practical skills and a deep understanding of behavior management techniques. **Special Education Teacher (Kindergarten & 1st Grade): My passion for teaching led me to a rewarding 4-year journey as a Special Education Teacher. I had the privilege of working with incredible students and helping them reach their full potential in the classroom. Seeing students succeed, no matter how big or small the steps were, was always a highlight! **My Educational Background:** **Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts: This provided me with a well-rounded understanding of various subjects, laying the foundation for my future in education. **Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA): This specialized training deepened my knowledge of behavior analysis and gave me the tools to support children with behavioral needs effectively. **Extended Master’s Program in Special Education: Along with my ABA degree, I pursued a specialized program in Special Education to further refine my teaching skills and better support students with diverse learning needs. **Ongoing Professional Development: Throughout my career, I’ve committed to continuous learning, attending numerous continuing education courses and training to stay up-to-date on the best practices and strategies in the field. Each step in my career has fueled my passion for helping children and families, and it’s why I’m so dedicated to creating resources that will make a difference. With my unique blend of education, hands-on experience, and dedication to ongoing growth, I’m excited to continue supporting others through **New Leaf Behavior Supports**. Thank you for following along with me on this journey, and I can’t wait to share more with you! #NewLeafResources #BehaviorAnalysis #SpecialEducation #EarlyIntervention #ContinuousLearning #EducatorJourney #HelpingOthersThrive
