Division Word Problems Bulletin Board
I created this interactive bulletin board for use in my own classroom. First, I recommend laminating all of the pieces. I then staple the pitchers of lemonade to the bulletin board. I placed a piece of Velcro next to each pitcher and a piece on the back of each cup. The purpose is for students to solve the word problem and then match the answer (cup) to the correct word problem (pitcher). I’ve included two different title pages, a page for directions, and the answer key.

Experience
I have been teaching since 2006. I have taught every subject in fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. My first year was a small self-contained sixth grade class. Teaching style
I believe it is important for students to be taught the information they should know. I spend a lot of time working with students in small groups and individually. Using higher-order thinking skills is also a must in my classroom. It is imperative to challenge students so that they can reach their full potential.
Awards & shining teacher moments
I have received awards for having the highest TCAP (state test) scores in my school and district in Math, Science, and Social Studies.
My own education history
I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of Mississippi in 2006. I then earned a Master of Arts in Education in 2012 from Bethel University.
Additional biographical information
I have been married since 2007. My husband and I share our house with our son, four dogs, and five cats. When I am not at school or spending time with my family, I am working on things for school.
