About the store
Hi there — I’m so glad you’re here. I’ve been a teacher for over 30 years, working with students from early years right through to high school. Most of my experience has been in English, drama, and student development — helping learners build confidence, communicate clearly, and feel more secure in themselves. Every resource in this store comes from real classroom experience. I’ve taught a wide range of students — different abilities, learning styles, and backgrounds — and I’ve seen firsthand what works, what doesn’t, and what students actually respond to. That’s why I create resources that are practical, engaging, and easy to use. No fluff, no unnecessary prep — just materials that help students think, reflect, and grow in ways that last beyond the lesson. In addition to teaching, I’ve spent years designing my own curriculum and learning activities, and I now bring that work into the digital space so other teachers can use it right away with confidence. I’m also currently working toward my Doctorate in Education, focusing on how we can better support students — especially in areas like emotional wellbeing, resilience, and real-life skills. If you’re looking for resources that are thoughtful, classroom-tested, and designed with real students in mind, you’re in the right place. Thank you for the work you do — and for trusting me to be part of your classroom.

Teaching style

My teaching style has always been simple at its core — meet students where they are, and help them move forward with confidence. Over the years, I’ve learned that students don’t engage with learning unless they feel safe, understood, and capable. So I focus on creating a calm, structured environment where expectations are clear, but there’s also space for curiosity, creativity, and honest conversation. I lean heavily on practical, hands-on learning. I like students to think, reflect, discuss, and apply — not just complete work and move on. Whether it’s through journaling, group discussion, or creative activities, the goal is always the same: help students make real connections to what they’re learning. I also pay close attention to individual differences. No two students learn in exactly the same way, so I build in flexibility wherever I can — offering different ways to engage, respond, and succeed. Most importantly, I believe in building trust. When students know they won’t be judged, they’re far more willing to try, to speak up, and to grow. That’s where real learning begins. Everything I create is shaped by that approach — practical, student-centered, and designed to support both confidence and understanding.
