I was an elementary classroom teacher for 23 years before leaving the classroom to homeschool my two daughters. I am an avid supporter of education and am thankful for the opportunity to now teach my own girls. This Common Core aligned math activity allows students to practice their percent and ratio skills in a highly engaging way. Students will plan a meal for their family while being thrown some "curve balls" (i.e. taking percentages off of each item, finding the best priced items, etc). Hi, I'm Rebekah, the creator behind Next Chapter Co. I have been married since 2002 to the most wonderful man and have been blessed with two daughters (12 months apart). I LOVE teaching, whether it be in the classroom or at home, and seeing something new spark joy for a student is the highlight of it all.
