About the store

Experience

I’m a middle school ELA teacher with 18 + years of experience designing high-engagement lessons that blend creativity, critical thinking, and real-world relevance. I currently teach 8th grade and work with 130+ students a year, constantly refining my resources based on what actually works in the classroom. Everything I create has been tested with real students, revised based on their responses, and built to save teachers time without sacrificing rigor.

Teaching style

My classroom runs on movement, discussion, choice, and purpose. I believe students learn best when they’re doing the thinking, not just absorbing it. That’s why most of my resources include stations, debate prompts, real-world scenarios, interactive slides, and writing that feels relevant . My goal: ✅ Engagement without fluff ✅ Rigor without overwhelm ✅ Creativity without chaos If it doesn’t make students think AND make a teacher’s life easier, it doesn’t go in my store.

My own education history

18+ years in the classroom with a B.A. in English M.A. Secondary Education M.A. in adminstation

Additional biographical information

When I’m not teaching or creating resources, I’m usually reading, traveling, or spoiling my Shih Tzu puppies. I’m also building a collection of classroom-tested activities that help teachers cut prep time in half while still delivering lessons students remember. If you like resources that are ready to teach, thoughtfully designed, and built for real classrooms, you’re in the right store.
