This Heart Rate Lab STEM Activity is an engaging, hands-on lesson that incorporates exercise, science, graphing, multiplication, and healthy living. This is a fun and educational Valentine's Day activity too! Students begin by learning how to locate their pulse and calculate their resting heart rate by counting beats for 10 seconds and multiplying by 6.
