Number books are one of my favorite stations during math, however many times my students get confused on how to start the next page. These differentiated number books progress at different levels. They all begin with several filled in number books with dotted numbers for them to trace to get used to the pattern. Then quickly or slowly the numbers begin to disappear and they have to fill in the numbers themselves.
