This activity allows students to complete 10 compound inequality problems without having to just sit and complete a work sheet. The students will be able to cut out the shapes, and then tape/glue them together when they find the matching problem and answer. I have printed these on colored paper, then hung them around the room. My students have loved coming in to see them, and trying to find the one they did.
PPT of various function problems, including some compound functions. PDF with 35 randomize BINGO cards for the 25 questions from the PPT. My students really enjoyed this activity, and I found many of them helping one another figure out how to put these problems into the calculator. There was a lot of competition with the kids, but there was a lot of collaboration as well. Great for Block Scheduling, or a crazy schedule day.
We've all had a lot of students need extra practice with solving equations. My kiddos are no different. This year I tried to make it more interesting, so they're not just working on a worksheet. This activity requires very little time on your end, but is nice for the kids, because they don't have to sit in their seat the entire period.
This activity will allow your students to get up and moving around the room. There are 12 problems that the students will have to solve and graph in order to move to the next problem.
Each page has a problem and the previous questions' answer. Page one's answer is on page two, page two's answer is on page three, and so on. Page 10's answer is on page 1. Includes problems, and answer sheet for student work.
