This quick quiz can be used as a pretest, formative assessment, or post-test.Students will need to use greater than, less than, or equal to in order to compare fractions. They will also need to explain their thinking of how they compared the fractions. Fractions have common numerators, common denominators, or students will need to create common denominators in order to solve. Also includes drawing pictures to prove your answer and comparing fractions on a number line.

These arrows can be used with my READ, DRAW, WRITE sign to further clarify the steps of solving word problems. You can cut them out and post them next to the sign. You can also edit them if your steps are a little different.
