This is intended as a student project. Students are given proportional and non-proportional relationship which have to be represented by graphs, tables, and equations. In addition, students are required to research two more cell phone plans then represent it by graphs, tables, and equations. Finally, students are to analyze data presented in different representations, to decide which is the most economic plan.

This activity is used as a final project for studying system of linear equations with focus on SUBSTITUTION. It involves a story problem that asks for writing linear equations, setting up system of equations, solving them by SUBSTITUTION, graphing them, then analyzing information, before making final decision.

This activity is designed for seventh grade math students who are learning markups and markdowns.
