The boards are differnt and the students have an option to choose 3 activities that fit thier interest. I find that the students enjoy this and it sure does beat writing the words 3 times each every week. Who doesn't like variety?

These whole-class behavior lessons give students a chance on earning an incentive at the end of the week. My students were always excited on Monday to see what the new behavior slide was. I offer "Friday Fun Day" this reward gives the students 25 minutes towards an activity of their choice. Examples: Recess, snack, dodgeball, games, outside, etc... There are 17 premade slides included. That will cover you for half the school year!

This lesson was quite a success. The students sang 2 Pi songs, had a Pi reciting contest, decorated a paper plate using the Pi symbol, watched a video of the history of Pi, and measured circle objects and recorded the diameter and radius. Make sure you click on all the links to this lesson. Also, I started the day reading the book, Sir Cumference and the Dragon of Pi.

This review game covers our chapter on plant and animal cells. My students really enjoyed it. Just drag the flashlight over the light switches and click the correct answer. The light will turn on if they are correct or if they are incorrect the light will stay black and they will have to try again. This would be a great review for an electricity unit!

Factor Hangman

This lesson focuses on finding the factors of a number. The students will touch the white rectangle and get a number at random. They can write the factors at the bottom of the slide, or I do whole class and have them write factors on white boards. If they get it wrong the pumpkin will get eyes, nose, and mouth like in hangman. This is halloween themed but can be adapted for any holiday or color choice.

Equation Math Game

My students loved this game and really got the concept of solving addition and subtraction equations. The teacher will write in a number for the answer, the die will either roll an addition sign or subtraction sign. I change my pen color to a neon color so it is easy to see their work on the black background. The firework is also a nice add, so make sure your sound is up.
