Students solve addition and subtraction facts through 25 and then color according to the code. Love that extra fact practice!

My own education history

Straight out of school, I was a long-term kindergarten sub with 26 students in my class. That teaching bootcamp experience πŸ˜† helped me land my first full-time job as a 2nd grade teacher in the same district. I had my own classroom for 3 years and then decided to team-teach with my teaching bestie. πŸ‘ We had over 40 students in a double-sized room and had the time of our lives! ❀️️ We learned how to collaborate and have fun every day with our students. A change in jobs led my family to a new community where I taught 4th grade before transitioning to reading intervention. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE working with students in small groups and 1:1 and am currently working toward earning my masters degree. Life is busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
