The documents have students place items such as the Appalachian Mountains, the Proclamation Line of 1763, and placement of the original 13 colonies. The handout also asks students to color colonies based on topic questions such as "color the colony known as the Chapel upon a Hill" certain colors. The map assignment generally takes an entire class period of 45 Minutes to complete.
