I have half year of experience as a reading interventionist and am on my second full year of teaching middle school ELA. Science is new for me this year, as well!
I LOVE this resource. Teaching middle schoolers, I am ALWAYS looking for ways to try to keep them organized and improve their ability to keep up with their assignments for all subjects for the week. I pass this out every Monday for students to write down any upcoming assignments due for that week plus any assignments they need to complete that are overdue. My school uses HAC (Home Access Center) which is what the sheet says. No worries though because this is an EDITABLE template that you can mak

This was one of the highlights of my classroom this year. It was a neat and creative way for my students to view and review the writing process. The preview only contains three of the 7 pages. Hang it vertically anywhere you like to display not only the writing process but a cute pencil! Totally printable and easy to laminate.
If you work with a team and have multiple different classes, sometimes the disruptions from students coming to you room can get a little out of hand. I made this editable, front and back welcome/do not disturb sign that hung outside my door to cut down on the amount of student disruptions during instructional time or test time. The sign mainly stays on the welcome side but on occasion like when testing or doing whole group lessons or centers, I flip it to the do not disturb side! Happy teaching!
Simple Levels of Understanding Chart/Slide! I love to put this on my board (or could be made into a poster and hung on the wall) as a quick check for student understanding. They can simply write the number that correlates to their level of understanding on the assignment they are doing. Whether walking around checking work or taking it up, this provides a quick way to assess understanding around the room.
This has made a WORLD of a difference when it comes to keeping up with pencils in my classroom. Students grab a pencil, jot their name and date down on the paper, then when they return the pencil, they put a checkmark showing they checked it in. Pencils are a hot commodity! This has helped ensure that borrowed ones are returned like asked.
I LOVE a good classroom job. They teach responsibility and makes for more efficient classroom management. This EDITABLE template contains six premade jobs/descriptions and two "Add your own" slides for you to add more. The entire template is editable though, so if you need to make more than the two extra or even change ones already listed, you have the ability to. The 6 jobs already in the template include: Clean up crew, Librarian, Calendar Keeper, Class Messenger, Tech Team, and Table Checker.

These brain break passes are the perfect incentives for your kiddos that may be driven by cool down, brain break, or chill time! They're really great for all students, actually. Give these away daily, or make them a part of your treasure box or class shop! The file contains a 5 minute brain break pass along with a 10 minute one. They are printable and you are able to write your students name, the date given or used, and your teacher signature. Happy teaching!
Classroom Library Log for easy classroom library management! This really helped me this year with keeping up with who checked out my personal library books and who did not. The students wrote their name, the book title checked out, and then the date checked out and back in. It was very easy to keep up with! I stuck it on a clipboard and hung it on the side of one of the bookshelves for easy access. This resource is free and includes three pages of the same log but in different colors - light gre
