About the store
Time flies when you are having fun! This year will be my 17th year in education. I began teaching 4th grade and enjoyed it. After a few years, I went down to 2nd grade and fell in love. I took a break from the classroom for 2 years, and served as a Literacy/Reform coach. Although I enjoyed working with teachers, I decided to follow my heart and go back to the classroom. Over the past 7 years I have taught 1st and 2nd grade.

Awards & shining teacher moments
This year I was recognized for teacher excellence by my district. One teacher from each site is chosen and I was honored to be acknowledged! It was especially exciting as this was the first year they have done this!
My own education history
I received my BA in Psychology from California State University, Chico. My Multiple-Subject credential is from Chapman University.
