To find the suspects students will take role as math detective and try to find the clues by solving fraction, decimal, and percentage problems. The KEY is also available. Make sure choose the right file before sharing the case to Google Classroom or to students. It's in slide presentations so students can fill in the answers in it. I start this activity with my grade 2 students by asking them to read a story book of their own choice. When they are finished, I ask them to look for the words that shows up multiple time in the story and we make a big list of the words and name it high frequency / sight words.
