I started as an at home trainer for 2 years for children with disabilities. I followed that with choosing my career to work with children but in a more structured setting. I became a Paraprofessional for 4 years while I finished my Undergraduate degree and my Masters in General and Special Education 1-6. I am currently working as a full time teacher in First Grade.

It has instructions for the week, a list and a possible definition of all the words. Or you can just put the words in one space if your students are too young for definitions. I found many of the fun spelling packets didn't give me the the ability to change the words that correlated to what I was doing in t

This can be changed for any story that you are focusing on Problem And Solution! It is differentiated for three different levels.
These specifically were used with my formal observation lesson plan on Rainbow Fish.

Book In A Bag Editable!
This is an assignment to send home every Friday. We like to keep the Homework light on the weekends but they can never read enough.
This has them read as well as complete a small comprehension component.
I made it editable so you can change your class and maybe the return day. Have them complete it once over Monday-Friday.

Additional biographical information
I've seen and learned many different teaching styles and methods. I took it all in and now applying it in my own classroom. I share realistic work that I am using daily. It may not be the most professionally done but I can assure you that it's real.
The comments and feedback are very appreciated because taking and applying constructive criticism is key as a new teacher. I am trying to learn as much as I can from all different people such students, teachers (inside and outside my school), parents, friends and family.
