Teaching style

Welcome to my world of structured learning where I add a sprinkle of rainbows and glitter to the classroom (kidding... I hate glitter). My approach is all about scaffolding learning so every student has the tools they need to succeed. No two students are alike, and I embrace that! Together, I can be your partner in crafting individualized outcomes, making sure everyone reaches the finish line with a sense of accomplishment and a little sparkle too (rainbows, no glitter).

Awards & shining teacher moments

I've been fortunate to receive recognition from school districts in both Texas and Wisconsin, making it an even bigger honor to serve educators and students. My expertise has taken me to numerous Regional Education Service Centers across Texas and various school districts, allowing me to share insights and resources with the education community. Additionally, I'm proud to be the Featured Creator for the Literacy Education Program employed across the State of Texas, particularly designed to empower students with Low-Incidence Disabilities. It's a privilege to contribute to their educational journey.

My own education history

M. Ed. in Instructional Design and Technology with a history of working in Curriculum and Instruction.
