Experience

I have been teaching for 12 years with experience at the elementary, middle school, high school, and collegiate level! I am a member of the Ohio Music Education Association board and have presented multiple times at the annual OMEA Professional Development Conference.

Teaching style

My teaching style is based on a few key ideas - First, every student can and should be successful in my class. My designing enjoyable, approachable, and meaningful teaching materials I can support ALL of my students. Second, I want to work smarter, not harder - I design my materials to yield the maximum growth in my students without generating more work for me. And third, students who have a strong fundamental knowledge of music will also perform better. Many of my materials focus on developing a higher degree of music literacy in my students.
