I've spent over 15 years in education, with 12 years in lower elementary and the past 3 in upper elementary. Along the way, I’ve also supported students and colleagues through francisation and worked in learning centre roles. I’m passionate about using the most up-to-date, research-backed approaches in my teaching and in the resources I create—everything is designed to be practical, inclusive, and engaging for today’s diverse classrooms.

My teaching style is rooted in explicit instruction, inspired by the work of Steve Bissonnette, providing students with clear, structured learning. I combine this with differentiated instruction, hands-on exploration, and a collaborative classroom culture that emphasizes team building and student leadership. I integrate a variety of approaches—outdoor education, thoughtful use of technology, and engaging, interactive activities—to create a dynamic learning environment where every student can grow, contribute, and feel empowered, ✨.

As a lifelong learner and passionate educator, I bring a mix of classroom experience and academic background to everything I create. I hold a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education, along with a Master’s in Education focused on teaching students whose first language is French, and another Master’s in Outdoor Education, 🌲💕. My teaching style blends language support, creativity, and hands-on learning—and that’s exactly what you’ll find in my resources: practical, engaging tools that actually work in real classrooms.

When I’m not teaching, I’m a full-time animal cuddler (mine or anyone’s, really), outdoor adventurer, and house décor enthusiast who definitely spends way too much time wandering the aisles of HomeSense (send help). I also love cooking, baking, and pretending working out is my favorite hobby amongst the many. If I’m not doing any of those, I’m busy plotting our next travel escape-because daydreaming is a healthy coping mechanism. In short: I’m powered by coffee, curiosity, and a questionable obsession with landscaping.
