Real Life Tables & Graphs - Linear & Proportional Relationships

Engage students with proportional relationships through this fun, two page activity! Students first build a table to represent time vs. miles traveled for a sloth named Blaze McSlowface, racing across the city in his car at a constant speed. Using critical thinking and number fluency, they’ll complete the table, plot a scatterplot, and form a linear graph to show the proportional relationship. On Page Two, students apply the same skills to a real-life context: hours worked vs. money earned.
