Here are some quick reads with questions that can be used as exit tickets for the skill of sequence of events. As a multigrade AIS ELA teacher, i used these as formative assessments in each of my groups for the different grade levels however they can easily be used as differentiation in the regular classroom. You can use each of these short reading passages with questions as either 4 exit tickets over 4 days to monitor understanding on this important standard or as an assessment piece. The 4 passages have different question types (multiple choice, short answer, etc) to fully ascertain if students can find the all important evidence to support their claims. Extended Response Frame- Scaffolded Support for Complete Extended Response
This frame is an excellent resource to help your students practice writing the perfect extended response.
