About the store

Experience

I have taught Pre-Algebra and Algebra I for 20 years primarily at the Junior High School Level. I have worked with both At-Risk and Gifted Youth and coached several successful MathCounts Teams.

Teaching style

I consider myself a blended style of teacher. I am a firm believer that solid instruction and good habits lead to greater understanding for my students. However, I also, use exploration and digital tools such as Desmos when appropriate. My strength is in finding a unique approach to thinking about mathematics and infusing humor.
