With nearly 20 years of experience in nursing and healthcare education, I’ve taught everyone from aspiring nursing assistants to future BSN grads. I believe learning should be engaging, empowering, and maybe even a little fun. Most of my materials are built with busy faculty and curious students in mind, especially those in healthcare, anatomy, medical careers, and science. My teaching style is all about connection, curiosity, and clarity. I aim to create an environment where students feel safe to ask questions, take risks, and grow both academically and personally. I believe in meeting students where they are and guiding them toward where they want to be. I use a mix of structure, creativity, and real-world application to keep lessons engaging and relevant. Whether we're diving into anatomy, exploring healthcare careers, or solving clinical scenarios, I want students to feel inspired and empowered every step of the way.

I’ve been fortunate to be featured as an innovator in nursing education through podcasts, news articles, and national magazines. My work has focused on expanding access to healthcare careers, designing creative learning experiences, and supporting students from all backgrounds. One of the most unforgettable moments of my career was being recognized during a visit from the President of the United States, a powerful reminder of the impact we can make as educators. Whether it's developing new pathways into nursing or reimagining the classroom experience, I’m always pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in health education.

🎓 I hold a doctorate, master’s, bachelor’s, and associate degree, all in various areas of nursing and healthcare education. My academic journey has taken me through the worlds of clinical practice, nursing leadership, health policy, and education, all of which shape the way I teach today. I’ve combined my love of science, storytelling, and student support to create resources that are practical, engaging, and rooted in real-world experience.
