About the store

Experience

Hi, My name is Trisha and I'm currently a middle school teacher for English Language Learners. I've been teaching for over 15 years now! I also taught art for 9 years. I enjoy being creative in my goal of creating ESL digital content for my students and peers.

Teaching style

During class time I provide my students with bell ringers and warm-ups that review previous content or that briefly introduce content we will dive into more deeply. I believe in providing chunked information for ELL students that is clear and concise. We have 45-minute classes. Scaffolding the topics and chunking information helps with managing students with different proficiency levels daily. I cover weekly topics that are relevant for newcomers.

My own education history

Bachelors in Art Education and a Masters in TESOL.

My children are almost grown and I'm ready to get back to what I love doing in my spare time which is being creative. I'm learning to master Canva as well as other LMS systems to open up my website one day.
