Offthestaff Shop

This shop is run by an Irish Primary School Teacher. Bachelor of Education with a specialism in Early Childhood Studies and completed dissertation on the impact of the transition from preschool to primary school on infants social skills and self confidence. Have lots of experience as a Special Educational Teacher in learning support settings as well as an EAL teacher. Have experience 1:1 tutoring pupils with additional needs and have also taught English abroad in Spain to 7/8 year olds. Previously have taught junior and senior infants (Pre-K and Kindergarten), 3rd class (grade), 5th class (grade - multiple times!) and even at one point taught 3rd/4th/5th class in the one classroom all at once 33 pupils for an entire school year. Have completed pianoforte exams up to grade 8 and also received senior certificate in pianoforte. Have also completed Grade 8 singing exams. Taught choir and led choir multiple times in whole school settings for concerts, open nights and holy sacraments (communion, confirmation). Have diploma in PTSD & Traumatology so constantly trying to include trauma informed approaches in the classroom. Have co-produced anti-bullying workshops, been on the radio and a constant advocate for victims of covert abuse and covert bullying. All of this ties into making teaching resources from a holistic perspective with the teacher at the centre.
