I create hands-on, differentiated, rigorous, and standards-based activities for PreK-3rd grade to help save you time and keep students engaged! My degree is in Early Childhood Education, and I have 28 years of teaching experience in PreK-3rd Grade. I’m an educational blogger, curriculum designer, and owner of Oink4PIGTALES.
My passion for teaching began the first day I started school. My parents built me a classroom in the basement of our home. It was complete with chalk board, desks, and teaching supplies. I started creating resources at the age of six to “play school”. Little did I know then, this was preparing me for a future of creating resources for myself, friends, and teachers around the world.
I’ve been a TpT author since 2015. I strive to offer QUALITY Standards based aligned resources for PreK-3rd grade. Please know YOU are OINKTASTIC to me!
I became a Pig Lover in high school. Little did I know, what began as a joke, would turn into a classroom and house full of pigs! Because of my love for pigs, it was only fitting to make my classroom a Pig Theme room. Finding Pig Décor was always impossible, so I began creating my own. Other teachers began asking me to make things for them, and one thing led to another, and another and then in 2015 I opened my TpT store as a hobby. I never dreamed that my store would be able to help so many teachers and students across the world! This is such an OINKTASTIC feeling! When I say “OINKTASTIC” or “PIGARRIFIC”, it's just my little idiosyncrasy of saying "GREAT JOB", "THANK YOU", or "WELL DONE"!

I try to integrate as many skills as possible possible into every lesson I teach and create. Kids must be taught in a way that is developmentally appropriate, engaging, fun, and differentiated. Students need to learn that mistakes are okay, not a failure, but lessons that lead to success!

My degree is in Early Childhood Education. I graduated with honors as a nontraditional student. I have a Master in Curriculum and Instruction, that I graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors while teaching full time. My passion to teach began in my pretend school house,my parents built for me when I was in first grade. I love teaching and could never imagine myself doing anything else.

I became a Pig Lover by accidentally making a snorting sound in High School. Little did I know, what began as a joke, would become one of my biggest and most cherished collections. It was only fitting to make my classroom a Pig Theme room. My classroom is full of pigs and my students (PIGAROOS) and I "OINK" a lot! My Pigaroos and I love our class mascot, a stuffed pig named Baby Cheddar, long and meaningful story. Check it out on my blog or Facebook.
