Many of my students struggled with math. Often I used puzzles, multi-exercise circuits, and other techniques to keep students engaged. Also, often there were extra activities for students that could correctly complete the activities before the other students were finished.
Another important part of my classes was the implementation of career oriented activities where a student would use the math they were learning in assorted career simulations.
Most of my career there was NOT a lot of software that made it easy to make my own math materials on the computer, so most of my materials are hand written when the textbook work did not fit the needs of my students.
