This product is a MATH JIGSAW PUZZLE. While this particular sample activity is one puzzle involving 1st, 2nd & 3rd degree equations, graphs, and ordered pairs, there are many other aspects of the math curriculum covered by my jigsaw puzzles. In addition to puzzles I usually include additional bonus worksheets that I have used over the years. Experience

I taught junior high school and high school math for 35 years. I also taught Work Study Classes. I have been retired for several years. I still teach as a substitute teacher in K-12 classes.

Teaching style

Many of my students struggled with math. Often I used puzzles, multi-exercise circuits, and other techniques to keep students engaged. Also, often there were extra activities for students that could correctly complete the activities before the other students were finished. Another important part of my classes was the implementation of career oriented activities where a student would use the math they were learning in assorted career simulations. Most of my career there was NOT a lot of software that made it easy to make my own math materials on the computer, so most of my materials are hand written when the textbook work did not fit the needs of my students.

My own education history

My Bachelors Degree was in Mathematics and Education for Middle School and High School Education. Presently, I have a Masters Degree plus 30 hours in Education.
