About the store

Experience

I have been teaching German for 25 years in Montana. I teach Levels 1- AP German 4.

Teaching style

I have always used stories in my classroom as a fun way to introduce vocabulary and get kids talking! It is easy for them to remember vocabulary. They are able to learn grammar more easily if it is connected to a context. And what is even better, if students have something to talk about or a story to tell, they are more apt to speak the target language in the classroom! Talking can be scary for students, so what ever we can do to help them is important.

My own education history

I have a Masters in German education from the University of Montana. Part of my masters program included a summer in Klagenfurt, Austria.
