Awards & shining teacher moments
Once, a reluctant reader hid a copy of the Lightning Thief in his math book. This was after months of teaching and relationship-building, and I couldn't have been more proud of the student!

I have a BA in Art Education, a BS in Chemistry, and a Master of Arts in Teaching.
Additional biographical information
I am a mom to a college student and a wife to an active duty service member. We also have a very active cat and a derpy Golden Retriever. I've lived in California, Idaho, Alaska and Germany among other locations.
