About the store
At On Teaching Math, we believe that education is more than just learning facts and procedures—it is a journey of personal development. Mathematics, with all its challenges and intricacies, provides students with a unique opportunity to discover their strengths, refine their thinking, and practice becoming their ideal self. Every problem they solve is a chance to build resilience, develop reasoning skills, and cultivate a mindset that will serve them well beyond the classroom. We also recognize that teachers are the backbone of this process, yet they are often overwhelmed with responsibilities that distract from the true purpose of education. The best teaching happens when educators have the time and resources to focus on what really matters—helping students grow. We reject the notion of a "perfect" teacher or a "one-size-fits-all" curriculum. Instead, we believe that great teaching comes from clarity of purpose—when teachers define their educational vision and take meaningful steps toward it, they can create the best possible learning experience for their students. That’s why every product from On Teaching Math is designed with precision, practicality, and purpose. We ensure that our resources are: ✅ Hassle-free – easy to implement so teachers can focus on teaching, not troubleshooting. ✅ Correct and well-structured – so educators can trust their materials without second-guessing. ✅ Student-centered – fostering both conceptual understanding and procedural fluency to create a meaningful and lasting learning experience. ✅ Engaging and thought-provoking – ensuring that students don’t just memorize, but actually enjoy and grow through their mathematical journey. Ultimately, On Teaching Math is about honoring the craft of teaching while empowering students to grow. We create resources that allow teachers to teach with confidence and purpose, while ensuring students develop the skills and mindset to think deeply, solve problems, and become lifelong learners.

Teaching style

I am truly a student-centered teacher. I guide and direct some of the avenues of exploration, but that is only to prevent us from chasing down rabbit holes that lead nowhere. I am more of a facilitator than a teacher and I empower my students to take charge of their learning.
