Experience
I have taught grades 1 to 8. I also was an academic resource teacher and worked with students who were below grade level. My last position was a teacher librarian at a French Immersion School. But the most fun I had in my career was teaching music and being the choir leader and hosting school musicals.
Teaching style
I truly enjoyed teaching using the Thematic/Centered Learning Approach. I wrote curriculum with two other teachers for the Durham Board of Education. That is how I started writing my own curriculum and selling my units to teachers across Canada. I believe in the fundamentals of teaching.
